I want clients to LOVE their homes, not just live in their homes. This comes from listening to clients needs & wants, and then gaining inspiration to create the possibilities to incorporate these needs & wants into beautiful & comfortable spaces. Thus, creating a “home”. This process involves being organized & working as a team with the client, as well as the architect, contractor & tradesmen. I like projects that range from short & simple updates, to ground-breaking projects that are move-in ready.
My designs are classic & fresh. It pains me to be repetitive. I like to incorporate organic materials, texture, color & quality into my designs. I like to have stylish & creative products & furniture to guarantee my clients will be more than satisfied with my services. I make a personal commitment to getting work done to your satisfaction & I offer an inspirational eye with a follow through attitude. Many clients have expressed their satisfaction & excitement with the final project by inviting me to help them with their other homes.
Where does the name j&o studio come from?
Jack & Owen, my 2 nephews, who just happen to be 2 of the best men in my life! One of my favorite activities is cheering them on at school auditoriums, sports fields & fun weekend trips & adventures.
My life history includes a never ending urge to fulfill the creative artist inside. My education includes a Bachelors Degree in business as well as my degree in Interior Design from the Denver campus of the Colorado Institute of Art.
As a long time resident of the Vail Valley, I enjoy yoga, reading, & spending time with my faithful dog Giada. I love traveling & exploring, from trail hiking with Giada to the restaurant & shopping scenes in the city.
